This is a string of six wax & paper moths, each hand cut from paper, crafted and delicately drawn. Manilla paper is waxed, then the details are scribed into the wax and filled with oil paint, and fused in with flame. The string is a happy yellow, strong but thin thread that is 6 feet in length, ending at the last moth. The backs are left undone, string running along it. Some oil paint is smudged on the backside, giving it more depth. They look amazing in the light of a window, hanging vertically, or like a pennant across a room. Moths are matte clear coated, front and back, for protection from dust and durability.
