I hand construct each copper frame box, which is set with a thick, yet tiny square of glass. The butterflies in this collection include popular specimens, such as monarch, blue morpho, rice paper, yellow zebra swallowtail, green birdwing, and others. Each highly detailed butterfly is an actual photograph of a real specimen which I have meticulously hand-cut, then mounted individually on a textured ivory paper background. The butterflies in this collection can be rearranged to your liking, if you prefer a specimen other than the blue morpho to be the focal point. Just contact me with your preferences. If you have another species of butterfly that you would just love to see featured, contact me.
The antiqued copper chain measures approximately 18", and closes with a lobster clasp. The box pendant measures a little over 1", and is non-opening.
