Small Threads is a one woman business, run by me, Mandy. I am a stay at home/work at home mother of two young boys. I love that I am able to support our family financially by doing something that I am thrilled to do. Take a look around in my shop, I am sure that you will find love at first sight.
READ ABOUT THE PROCESS
• I imagine a character
• I never use a pattern, I draw every design, freehand, every time
• I hand select each piece of quality vintage and modern fabric to best express each individual creation
• I machine sewn the fabric to the clothing to create the design
• this is the magical step, I HAND STITCH each design. Hand-stitching can take more than 4 hours for some pieces. Hand-stitching brings life into the character. During this step you can literally watch my designs go from ordinary to magnificent.
