A bit dark, a bit medium and a little lighter.
She has pearl colored safety eyes.
A bit of trivia!
The cerise color name comes from the French word meaning cherry. The word "cherry" itself comes from the Norman cherise.
In World War II the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) used cerise-colored plastic explosives. PE is typically white or cream-colored. Cerise-colored PE could be molded into innocuous appearing objects allowing them to be smuggled through German checkpoints.
As with all our Flower Bunny friends, she loves flowers.
Carnations (Dianthus caryophyllus)are her favorite. She loves the variety of color and beauty.
She even carries a flower upon her tummy.
The yarn used in creating Cerise is 100% cotton.
She is stitched together rather firm and strong but as with all things keep in mind small children and what they seem able to manage. Her cheeks and nose could pose a choking hazard if pulled off. There are no items glued.
She is stuffed with Hypo-Allergenic Polyester Fiber Fill. It will Foof in the wash, not bunch and twist.
While I would say machine was on cold is fine, I would not put her in a drier. Should you encounter issues with dust or dust mite allergy, you only need to place any stuffed item in a bag and place in your freezer for a short period of time to kill the dust/mites before returning the toy to the child.
(My daughter has dust allergies :)
She will really make for a great fun friend for the right little one. Perhaps you know just the right person who would love to give her a home.
