This is a funny 2D sketch brought into three dimensions with a twist. The short offset gives the simple graphic shape some quiet motion.
This ring is "printed" by fusing together hundreds of layers of fine stainless steel powder and infusing the whole form with molten brass. Then it's cooled, given a light polish to take the sharp edges off, and then it's ready to wear! The process leaves it's own marks on the surfaces - layers and patterns are often visible and often beautiful. I love this process, I think it's really amazing that it's possible, so I never try to hide it's origins.
The result is a true composite metal, with a colour that varies slightly from cold silver grey through to a subtle champagne.
I can also do this with a gold plate ($15 extra) or a dark antique bronze kind of finish ($7 extra).
Each ring is custom made to your exact finger size - if you don't know your ring size, you can measure the circumference of the biggest knuckle it'll have to go over by wrapping a strip of paper around it and then measuring the length of the strip.
It takes about three weeks to make them, and I shop airmail small parcel worldwide (usually about 7 days to get to USA). Completely customisable too, if you want a different pattern, wider, or a double twist in the opposite direction!
