This copper belt buckle is an imprint of a real peacock feather. Run through a rolling mill. With extreme pressure, the feather actually leaves an imprint into the metal that is delicate and sophisticated. A patina is then added to bring out the recessed lines and add contrast. It is soldered onto a brass plate that gives this piece a thin and elegant frame of contrasting metal. This buckle is more of a special occasion piece, as its delicate lines makes anything look out of the ordinary!
