A rather coy looking woodpecker but don't be fooled by his shyness he's a friendly fellow, a hand stitched brooch of a patterned Liberty of London print 'Birdsong' bird with a small key and a heart shaped lock. Intricately embellished with coloured blackwork, and satin stitch in a palette of teal, hot pink and pale blue.
The brooch measures dia 5cm, with a 4cm safety brooch pin, stitched and concealed with teasemade ribbon. Each brooch is hand stitched so may vary very slightly from the one pictured.
