A book out of a handwritten ledger book - this page is dated 1898 and has accounting details on it from Wilkinsburg (PA?).
Torn edge where I tore it out of the ledger. And the bottom is cut fairly straight across, making size approx 11 x 8.25"
I've printed a scroll of flowers (the ONLY thing printed) in a dusky lavender.
Then I've sketched (HAND-DRAWN) a cute black and white fawn (deer / bambi) on it, in ink pen. It was a cutie that I managed to capture with my camera only last weekend.
The old book page is heavier than typing paper, and is 'as is' - in line with being over 100 years old - some of its condition is slight discoloration. This adds to the charm of this.
I've signed it.
A very unique, one-of-a-kind artwork. A great conversation piece.
Black backing is only to show you suggestion for framing - 'float mount' on a color (like black, as shown), then frame under glass.
