This is a truly fantastic find. It is a mid to late 19th century Victorian brass Modiacr pocket watch with an enamel face. This watch is just begging to be repurposed into something new. It has a beautiful patina and is a great collectible object by itself, but imagine what a wonderful element it would be in a mixed media or altered art piece. It does have wear- the enamel face has cracks, and it is missing the winding knob, the watch crystal, and one of the hands, but seriously, doesn't that just add to the charm of it? The back of the watch case is also beautifully engraved; the weight of it tells me that it must be complete inside. I haven't tried to open it because I didn't want to damage the patina-I leave that to you. Enjoy!

As a mixed media artist, my wife and I are constantly traveling to flea markets, estate sales, and auctions. Over time, we have acquired more items than we can use, and so we are selling the rest here! In general, all of the items we sell will have some wear and age to them. Items may have some nicks, dings, tears, folds, and fading, and the photographs may have bent corners, be faded, etc. But because the items are vintage and/or antique, some wear should be expected. We will try to clearly identify all wear and damage to each item or group of items when they are listed.
