This pincushion is made using a flag cotton print with red, blue, and an off white which makes the fabric look aged. Each side has off-white flannel and backing fabric to help rag up the seams. All of the seams are clipped by hand. Pincushion has been stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Two complementary red buttons have been sewn on the top and the bottom, so you can use both sides. The dimensions are approx. 4 1/2" square and 2" high.
I have started the ragging process by washing and drying the pincushion. You can wash in a gentle, cold cycle and dry using a gentle cycle. Afterward, you can fluff the edges up with your fingers. It is best to let the pincushion set out for a couple days to make sure the fiberfill is thoroughly dry.
Not intended for children 12 and under.
