One large and three smaller pockets are sewn inside to hold car keys, cell phone, checkbook, cough drops etc. I'm making the small pockets taller now, so you'll have lots of room for tall things. Each square is lined inside with flannel, interfacing, and cotton batting. The flannel adds fluffiness in the seams. The handles have been quilted with batting for extra softness and stitched with a pretty vine stitch. There are two pockets on the outside ends, too!
My camera had a hard time capturing the aqua dot print. It has a hint of green in it or is just a lighter shade of aqua. The handles, closure, side pockets, and inside fabric are a darker aqua color. All colors go very well together.
Dimensions are approx. 12" high X 12" wide with a gusset of 4" and a handle drop of approx. 12". You will also receive a base piece made out of plastic canvas, batting, and the inside fabric. This will give your purse extra stability.
All seams for the squares, the handles and closure strap are double-sewn for durability. A complementary button is added for the perfect finishing touch. This purse has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. I wash each purse using a gentle, cold water cycle and dry using a low heat setting. Washing of the base piece is not recommended. The handles and closure may need to be touched up with an iron. Your tote will become even more soft and fluffy with each washing.
Not intended for children 12 and under.
