Hi! To give you a quick explanation of what this piece is all about, (we) some EtsyMetal team members get together every week to challenge ourselves to think outside of the box. We like to play along side of reality TV design shows, like Project Runway and this new one called Work of Art. So this piece above was inspired by episode 6 of the WOA show.
In this episode the remaining artists are challenged to create a large-scale, outdoor installation piece. The artists must put egos aside and collaborate effectively in order to create a public art masterpiece in just two days. The challenge culminates in a public viewing.
EtsyMetal Jewelry Translation... for this episode we asked participants to all make a charm, these charms will be assembled together for a public piece to be sold in our shop. The jewelers are donating the proceeds of this necklace to help fund the Ring-a-Day project we are currently working on. We thank you for your support.
The artists below are the ones who made this lovely necklace. All the charms are handmade and the Charm Holder has the ability to open up from the back so you can wear whatever you so please. The overall hanging length of the holder and charms are approximately 3.5” long, the chain is a Sterling Silver 1.06mm snake chain and is 16.5” long. (total value of necklace $380.00, if priced individually)
