I handcrafted this pendant and set the bulky Opal stone in a Sterling silver and Goldfilled bezel.
This solid Australian boulder opal came to me from the owners of a mine near Quilpie in western Queensland. It is quality cut and highly polished.
There are natural flaws in the stone!
Through the surface of the stone one can see pale light blue, grey and brown shades, with comet –like, multi tiny flickers of Turquoise and Red.
The pendant measures 35mm (1.3") x 25mm (0.9") x 10mm thick.
The necklace is an omega necklace.
