For the hot, sultry bibliophile in your life (maybe it's you!)
I made these bookends from a used pair of shiny black stiletto heels by Pleaser USA. They are drilled with epoxy to steel plates, and are quite sturdy. They'll handle the most verbose volumes in your library. They are heavy- about two pounds each. the steel plates measure 9 inches long and 6 inches wide. The stiletto heels are 7 inches high.
These upcycled stiletto heels are a visual reminder of the increasingly artificial representations of femininity in American culture.

"A good part - and definitely the most fun part - of being a feminist is about frightening men."
