Fabric:
- Front: chocolate brown background embellished with pumpkin orange, olive green, golds, burgundy and burnt orange cotton stripe print and chocolate brown burlap flower with wire woven button center.
- Back: chocolate brown with envelope closure.
- Machine and hand sewn, double stitched, fully lined.
Flower:
- 5 1/2" outer diameter.
- Button center is 2 1/4" with pumpkin orange, golden brown and olive green buttons.
The sculptural flower element is a distinctive arrangement of various buttons placed on two coordinating layered fabrics. The button center contains 25 buttons, each woven together by hand using thin gauge wire. The intricate wire structure of the flower creates dimension and depth, giving it a sculptural appearance much different than buttons sewn directly to fabric.
I take great pride in my work. I only use high quality materials and I implement meticulous craftsmanship.
