My husband and I were lucky enough to attend his sister's wedding in Japan. The country was so different from what I was used to. I really enjoyed learning about their culture and tasting their food. On one fabulous day we had dinner at a restaurant where each party was seated in its own building. The floor was covered with bamboo mats, our cups were constantly filled with sake, and the food was absolutely fabulous. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. As we left the restaurant I noticed three simple umbrellas sitting on the ground. Simple yet beautiful! Every time a look at the photograph it reminds me that beautify can be found in the simplest surroundings.
