I took a few trips to the Barataria Preserve, just a quick drive from New Orleans in Marrero. This park, part of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, is a beautiful place to walk and see alligators, snakes, skinks, a huge swath of purple irises, cypress trees and thier knees and a beautiful bayou vista at the end of the trail.
These were taken with my K-1000 Pentax camera on balck and white film and you can see the texture of the film grain in the images. Choose any one of the five images and just give me the image name when you check out:
1) Boardwalk with Irises
2) Tiny White Blossom
3) Curved Root
4) Two Palm Leaves
5) Lichen Covered Trunk
The photographs will be printed on glossy, 8 x 10" paper with a white border around the image so none of the original is cropped. I will sign, date and title the image on the back. It will be shipped in a protective sleeve in a cardboard envelope and a padded envelope.
