About the Artist:
Wendy Owens has been painting since she was a child. In art school she explored all kinds of mediums and style which is how she discovered her passion for experimentation. You never know what to expect from her and she is always surprising the art world.
After working in the finance industry for several years Wendy kept hearing the calling for her art. In 2005 she picked up her brushes and began creating again. The joy it gave her there was no mistaking it was what she was meant to be doing for the rest of her life. In 2006 she made the transition to being a full time artist and has never looked back. Her work is now colloected worldwide and can be found in many US galleries.
Wendy is a mother to 3 young children and you can often see the whimsical inspiration in her work from her children. Another large inspiration for Wendy is the outdoors. She loves life and nature and it really shines through in her work.
