How does it work?
Simply print out your menu planner and dedicate a few minutes at the beginning of your week to plan ahead. There is a box titled "what i have" this is to create a list of the foods you already have on hand to work with for the week.
You can make a lot of your meal decisions for the week based on this list so that you can prevent the food you have from going to waste.
If there are recipes you'd like to try out, look at the ingredients needed and compare it to your "what i have" list. Missing items? Simply add them to your "what i need" list for easy shopping at the grocery store.
If you know you will be eating out with your co-workers on Thursday, plan ahead what you'd like to eat before you get there to stay on track with your goals.
