I screen printed silky cotton/rayon lightest tan fabric using my original stripes design and a variety of colorful inks ~ mauve, light blue, off-white, green and light plum. I gave this dress a sweet shape that tapers at the waist and flares out to a full skirt - the rayon fabric drapes so nicely it makes this dress luxurious. The 3/4 sleeves are so comfortable and the extra large hood adds to the retro glam feel. I made a decorative stitch from the neckline the cuffs of the sleeves and across the hood for added Fink style beauty and structure. I finished the hood and cuffs and like most of my designs I left the hem raw ~ not to worry, I use fabrics that do not fray and love the artistic look of raw edges. Looks great with and without the extra long matching belt.
A great dress for the changing seasons - looks great dressed up and down with flats, heels or boots. You will enjoy wearing this dress all of the time!
