This ring is a variation of my Earth and Moon Ring ( https://www.etsy.com/listing/54585926/earth-and-moon-ring ) and another ring in my Satellite/Orbit series. This is the Sun and Moon Ring. It features an 8 mm carved pink tourmaline cab at it's center sitting atop a grooved brass cone. Revolving around the stone is a small silver granule-- the pink tourmaline represents the sun while the cold silver lump orbiting around it is the glowing moon. (Okay, so the moon doesn't directly orbit the sun... but it orbits the Earth which orbits the sun. You can call it Mercury if you like.)
The band is a low dome stock with beaded edges-- it measures just under 1/4" wide. The overall height of the ring is about 1 1/4". Besides the fun of playing with the spinning element, this ring also makes a pleasant jingle as it rotates.
I currently have this ring in stock in a size 8 but it is RESERVED. If you would like one for yourself I can make another in whatever size you need and with different stones if you like. Please contact me for details. Custom rings take 3-4 weeks to ship unless other arrangements are made. I can get this out sooner if you need it sooner.
