We specialize French Nougat candies - made here in New York with our distinct Nougat recipe- using all natural ingredients. We hope you enjoy the selections in our shop. We make French Nougats, which are softer than the Italian variety (also known as torrone).
This listing is for an eight piece sampler of the following (one piece of each). This sampler is $5.00 plus $3.65 for shipping/handling.

Egg whites, sugar, and glucose are whipped to a fine fluffy consistency to create our soft French Nougats. Afterwards, our current line of flavors (vanilla, cafe au lait, cranberries, strawberries, and orange-chocolate) are mixed into the nougat. We then add our almonds (or pistachios), which we roast in small batches to bring out the fullness of its flavor. We love the sensory process of making nougats as upon roasting, the air fills with the wonderful aroma of roasted almonds and pistachios.
The smooth flavors of our nougat candy pairs perfectly with our fresh roasted almonds and pistachios- blurring the boundaries between candy and dessert. Delight yourself with the smell, taste, and texture of our soft French Nougats.
We keep all our fresh batches of nougats in a closed jar for no more than five days before we ship them out. The freshness and quality exceeds that of any commercial nougat found in stores.
Each piece of candy is wrapped in a delicate thin clear layer of edible rice paper so that it does not stick to the candy wrapper. Edible rice paper is often used in confections- especially in Japanese candies. Please note that the rice paper melts upon contact with moisture so you can be sure that it will not affect the taste/texture of the nougat candies.
