Vintage Japanese Dear Little Deer

❀ I found this a while ago and was just charmed by this funny little character. Marked Japan on the bottom, it has the look of early 1960s animation characters. He stands just under 7 inches high and there is a remnant of a tiny chain at his neck that might have once attached to other pieces.
I usually use him as part of my holiday decorations but is certainly cute enough to be out all year round.
