Our 100% Virgin Wool ‘Cozy Sweater’ is hand-knit in the highlands of central Mexico in a town where herders and their sheep roam cobblestone streets, families weave traditional wool sarapes on centuries old pedal looms handed down through generations and also expertly knit these classic mexican high-neck sweaters. Marilyn Monroe in the 60’s and Starsky & Hutch in the 70’s made these sweaters famous in the United States, but they’ve always been a staple in Mexico.
