The process of creating this precious piece was excitingly meditative. I never use any sketches, I make my creations on one breath trusting my sense of color, feel of material and taste.
This adorable purse created of hand-painted 100% Merino wool and natural silk with the traditional Nuno felting technique .
It measures approximately W -13.5 In ( 34cm ) L - 6.5In (16cm)
The purse is very soft but still very sturdy and strong. It has a pocket inside. The pocket measures W - 5 In (12.5cm) L - 3.5 In (9cm) and can be fastened on a vintage crystal button in a gorgeous cobalt shade.
This purse is great for a special occasion or for a night out.
The scarf consists two hand felted cords ( 56" ) and a large ( approx. 8" in diameter ) flower.

Felting is an ancient textile art , where manipulating wool , soapy water and rolling, squeezing and throwing, one creates a very special and unique piece..
