This handmade, one of a kind, wood pendant features a piece of tumbled Tiger's Eye and brass accents inset into Lignum Vitae. Lignum Vitae has an amazing grain pattern, with shades of green striated through a golden base. We chose the Tiger's Eye and brass to accent these natural colors. The stone is inset so that it almost appears to be embedded into a solid block of wood. The glint and glimmer of the stone and brass accents really draw the eye in this pendant! The pendant hangs from a brown leather cord that is easily adjustable from 26" (66cm) at its longest to whatever length you choose.

The pendant measures approximately 1 3/4" (4 1/2cm) x 1 3/4" (4 1/2cm) x 3/8" (1cm).

Our finishing process starts with several stages of sanding. We then apply tung oil to each piece. This brings out the grain and color of the wood and helps protect the piece from moisture and wear. When the tung oil is dry, the piece is sanded again. It’s then buffed on a buffing wheel. The piece is then waxed with a microcrystalline wax to protect this finish. We wax each piece several times, hand buffing it between each application.

Should your piece show signs of wear, buffing with an old t-shirt or other soft cloth should bring back the shiny glow it started with!
