The ears themselves are crocheted in orange acrylic yarn with orange wire crocheted around the outside to make the ears stiff and give them the ability to be shaped differently (just bend them gently to adjust them). The ears are sewn onto a crocheted dark brown acrylic yarn headband that knots in the back, making it easy to get on and off your head.
The entire headband is about 42 1/2" (108 cm) long and there is about 11" (27.9 cm) between each ear (this is the top of the head measurement). The ears are 3" (7.6 cm) long from inner-ear to ear tip and are 3" (7.6 cm) tall.
To wash these, I'd recommend handwashing gently in warm water, being careful with the ears so the crocheted-in wire doesn't pop out of the stitch.
