For reference, the crystals in the first ring are a ruby corundum, green tourmaline, sky blue apatite, glistening pink rhodochrosite, and tangerine aura quartz. The second photo shows pale green tourmaline, red spinel, then next door there is a diamond crystal, a garnet, and a pink tourmaline.
These rings are built for you, using the specimen of your choice. Each specimen has been carefully chosen for colour, form, and size.
Please see the bottom three photos in this listing for examples of the types of specimens you may choose from. These specimens range in size from 4-7mm. If you have a specific size request, please let me know. If you do not state a preference, I will choose the loveliest of the bunch for your ring.
I have many other specimens in my studio, so if you want something you don't see listed here, chances are I have it- just ask. For example, I have opaque, bubblegum pink rhodochrosite, pyrite, gorgeous fire agate, honey yellow citrine, pale lavender amethyst, lemon yellow citrine, clear quartz, dark gray quartz, pink rose quartz, pink kunzite, blue tourmaline... the list goes on. I also have dark purple amethyst, and green tourmaline.
The crystals are firmly embedded in a fine silver bezel using jeweler's epoxy.
The ring band is sterling silver, and is around 2mm across. The inside of the band is polished to a high shine, and the exterior, along with the bezel, has been brushed to an organic matte lustre finish using a rotary steel brush. If you would like your ring band to have a hammered finish, please let me know, and I can do so at no additional cost.
I can build you rings out of a low-domed wire, so the bands have a rounded profile. Or, I can use a flat-profile wire, so they have a flat surface. The rings shown in this listing are made from a low-domed wire, but anything is possible.
