Upcycled Metal Hinge Chair

Constructed of 122 used metal door hinges collected from various places and welded together. The original state of these hinges has been carefully preserved as each one has a story to tell. Some still carry remnants of the past. Bits of old paint and wood are the clues as to where they have been. This is a full size chair with the seat measuring 17 inches tall and sloping back. The back sits low at 28 inches tall and is sloped also. This chair is a true conversation piece, providing interest in both indoor and outdoor settings. I have coated this piece with a triple layer of rust preventative to ensure that any element it may be subjected to can be withstood .A true original this chair is a wonderful work of art sure to bring amazement to whomever's home it may grace.
