I call these wishing pouches since I started wearing them to school. Kids would ask me what is inside them. Because I wanted something to be inside them, I told the kids the pouch held wishes. You would not believe the number of (middle school aged) kids who wanted to whisper their wish into the pouch!
These little woven one of a kind (OOAK) wearables take hours to weave, and are quite intricate in their construction. they are woven using an off-loom technique, twisting the thread in a process called twining. The little threads are 4 ply, tiny and requiring great dexterity and patience.
The neck cord is fixed at approx. 32", twisted for strength. An attention getter for sure!
