It started with a very unusual antique pocket watch dial that had originally had 3 different “openings” in the dial. In the very old pocket watches the second hand section (the small round section at the bottom of the dial) was often soldered in and as they aged sometimes that section would come out. This particular pocket watch had 3 different sections….I’m not sure what they were for….a compass…another measure of time? Either way this one is very special!
I mounted 3 different small wristwatch dials behind the 3 openings and although I didn’t plan this is sort of looks like a face! How appropriate!
Another “moon shaped” plate from an antique pocket graces the top and a gorgeous antiqued brass finding holds 3 gorgeous milky glass beads and a delicate brass chain.
This unique piece of “wearable art” is fitted with a jewelry quality pin back and measures 2” wide and 4” tall.
