Porcelain block-printed teapot features original images of houses, trees, and a dog in the front yard that are handcarved into lino-blocks and then embossed onto the surface of the clay. Made from a combination of altered slab and wheel-thrown techniques, the teapot is first stained then glazed in celadon and oribe to give it that soft, muted green and subtle grey finish with flashes of rich reds and purples along the top. Comes with a strainer so you can enjoy your tea with much convenience. Holds and pours smoothly and will surely be a unique piece in anyone's kitchen! Perfect as a housewarming/wedding gift as well!

Cone 10 porcelain is food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
