This piece is finished with under glazes, then some acrylics and oil based ceramic stains. There are three star fish on the side of her face, and a fish jumping out her hair which looks like waves. There are subtle little bits of blue mirror mosaic tile pieces here and there on her body to give the hint of the reflection of sea water drops. There are three faces peering through the kelp-two in the front, and one in the back. Each has a different expression--one has a look of shock and upset, one has a look look of tranquility or being asleep, and the one in back has a look of observation or curiousness.
