The hat sits perfectly on the head.....I prefer to wear my hat forward on my head and a bit tilted to the side :o) This hat fits and stays easily on the head. It stays on securely without any use of hat pins or hair pins. Each hat I create is made with an elastic band that fits nicely and comfortably and can be hidden by your hair :o) The elastic band is a very sturdy and heavy head band that will not get caught or tangled in your hair. It is attatched to the inside of the hat at the sides and is to be worn at the base of your head (not under the chin).
I personally decorate all of the hats in my shop. This particular hat is decorated it with large sky blue lace and an ivory pearled lace applique. The metal components are silver and bronze flower arrangements along with antique Victorian buttons.
