I love this yarn! When I saw the colours I just had to knit it up. Cedar green, teal, turquoise, brown, purple, dark blue, light green and many colours in between. The yarn is hand dyed and hand spun-just beautiful.
The scarf is knitted with two different stitches to add complexity and texture. One stitch is an open lace stitch and the other a tighter stitch.
I love a frill so each end of the scarf is finished with one!
And…I love flowers too so there are seven crocheted flowers of varying sizes on each end near the frill. This also means the scarf has a right and wrong side to show off all that detail!
It is a blend of Lamb’s wool, silk, nylon and kid mohair. It is approximately 160cm (63”) long and 16cm (6”) wide.
This scarf really is a delight to wear and always earns a complement or two.
I have knitted a similar scarf in another colorway
