The late great Mark Foo tubed in a Hawaii. Foo lost his life at surfing Maverick's. Stacy Peralta's Riding Giants chronicles the tragedy.

Includes an Australia travel feature, "Ten Years After the Shortboard Revolution" by Paul Gross and SURFER staff photographers, "Knee Spree," "A Step Further" by Don Balch, a Northern Florida pictorial, and "Waves," a beautiful color pictorial featuring empty waves without surfers. Plus "LNG: The Rape of the Ranch" by Woody Woodworth and Tom Kampas, "Who's Phil Edwards, Part II" by Dr. Dorian Paskowitz, and Extra, which unveils a standing wave pool designed by Austrian Professor Ing Otto Frenzl.

This magazine is in very good condition. It shows some light wrinkling and discoloration on the cover (see actual photo). Otherwise light spine wear. No pulling at staples and no staple rust. No torn or missing pages and no cutouts.
