Upcycled Antique Zenith Radio Stained Glass Lamp

A one-of-a-kind original from Leaning Cedars Studios. Add a beautiful glow to any room with this up-cycled accent lamp. This piece began as a dusty find in Grandpa's garage attic. An old Zenith radio cabinet with no radio. After cleaning it up and removing the speaker mesh cloth, it was lightly sanded, hand-rubbed with a couple coats of tung oil, and buffed to a soft sheen. Stained glass pieces were cut to fit the speaker holes and an old glass bottle stopper filled the hole where the knob was. A nightlight base is attached to the back and uses a 25 watt round bulb. The inside of the cabinet is lined with recycled reflective aluminum sheets to intensify the light. The six-foot brown cord has an in-line switch.
