The earth may not be flat but it definitely has some corners! I made this square bowl using the same technique as my other recycled paper vessels. However, I had to flatter and convince the paper to meld into a square. Believe me, there were no corners cut there…it’s quite a feat making the paper do exactly want you want, but we finally came to an understanding. And you can now see the result – a wonderful square bowl crafted entirely from upcycled materials.

Your imagination will travel to places you've been and places you still want to visit with this fun paper bowl. I used an old US atlas to create this vessel so you will surely see some fond destinations and/or routes as you admire it on your coffee table or bookshelf. It is extremely sturdy for paper since I used a strong paper glue, which means you can use it to hold a number of items (mail, pens, office supplies, yarn, cotton balls, etc).

The bowl measure 7 inches across at the top and 3.25 inches high.

What a great gift for a traveler, graduate, new home-owner, or anniversary...or buy it for yourself and enjoy a great conversation piece!
