THE STORY
Remember the days when you would wait by the radio with your finger hovering over the "Record" button, just itchin' to capture that song to relay your feelings perfectly on a special mix tape? In the days before iPod playlists and CD burners, it was the only way to show your love in music.
I created the mix tape line of brooches with that feeling in mind. Made from hand-cut felt and buttons, they're a perfect way to show that special someone you care, or to show the world your love for music and old school sound. It's easier than wearing your heart on your sleeve.

THE DEETS
This particular Mix Tape is labeled "The Owl" for its goldenrod label, creamy white stripes & center, accented by mini black button "eyes" on a deep chocolate brown mix tape.
The Owl is hand-cut from Eco-Felt (made from 100% recycled plastic bottles) and has a pinback securely attached to a light periwinkle blue backing layer of felt. The backing has a hand screen printed ribbon "nerd JERK" label attached so that you'll always know who to refer your friends to when they compliment your new awesomeness!
