This colorful zippered pouch is perfect for taking along on a trip. Fill it with small toiletries or make-up. It's thick and stretchy, and fully lined, so nothing will slip through the holes in the crochet. The fun chunky texture and the bright colors will give your mood a little boost, and make the pouch easy to locate in your suitcase or hotel room, by both sight and feel. The knotted zipper pull has a soft and squishy little fabric nugget on the end.

I made the environmentally friendly up-cycled "yarn" for this project by cutting narrow strips of knit nylon-lycra fabric in different colors, and sewing them together into a single length of yarn. A laborious process, but worth the effort, to give the little scraps of fabric a new life.

The pouch is lined with silky yellow nylon lycra knit.

Hand wash.
