The bodice is lined with silk and interlined with 100% drill. IT is lightly boned with reeds and has double rows of spiral lacings in the back to allow for greater flexibility in sizing. A matching partlet is light enough for summer wear and can add an extra touch of warmth for those cooler fall faires. It is made in 100% cotton velvet and lined with 100% dupioni silk.
The skirt is lined with broadcloth and cartridge pleated into the waistband. The waistband and hem have an extra 2.5" to allow for growth. 3yd were used and would fit over a hoopskirt with 100" circumference on th3 bottom tier.
The underskirt is made from a cotton/poly tapestry fabric and broadcloth. It has a draw string waist.
The matching sleeves are lined in silk to allow for lightweight breathablility on those hot ren faire days. They are sewn in, however they are completely finished to allow for easy removal. (The Bodice is also finished completely to allow for the sleeves to be removed.)
