these are a 'A' grade genuine rough cut herkimer "diamond" with a double point, set in sterling silver with some rhodium for fine quality. average weight from 1.6 - 2.8 grams.
hangs from slightly oxidized textured cable chain in sterling silver. slinky chain, in perfect harmony with the stone. you will love it!

fyi: despite their diamond misnomer, Herkimers are actually six-sided, double-terminated quartz crystals and are not true diamonds, though they have been masqueraded as such during the civil war era.
they were first discovered in exposed outcrops of dolostone at Little Falls in Herkimer County, New York and the mohawk river valley. now you know!
