I made it from a beautiful heavyweight cotton fabric that I am so in love with, I actually made myself a duvet cover from it as well! It retains its vivid color through frequent washes, and develops a lovely softness over time. The dress is my own original pattern. It is thoroughly serged and topstitched for the ultimate professional finish.
It works with or without a shirt underneath, and is long enough to wear with or without pants. It's something that can be worn in all seasons, which is so important when shopping for baby clothes-- there is nothing more frustrating than having a gorgeous summer outfit that she'll only fit in while it's winter! (Okay, there are more frustrating things than that, but it's definitely up there!)
