This copperplate etching is created with a combination of printmaking techniques including drypoint, whiteground, aquatint, and intaglio. The copper plate is worked, drawn on, burnished, acid-etched, then re-worked until the image is satisfactory. This handpulled print is one of a limited edition of only thirteen, numbered and signed by the artist.

The image is the Italian Gothic cathedral of Siena in Tuscany, Italy.
