screenprint printed on 3 sides of kraft paper bag
10" x 8"
edition size: 43
This is a screenprint printed on 3 sides (front, back, bottom) of a brown, kraft paper bag and signed & numbered on the inside. It is printed to look very similar to a famous department store bag. The "recycled" logo and the logo of the bag company are also printed by me for true verisimilitude.
Little Brown Barf Bag pokes fun at the notion that certain disposable shopping bags have become status symbols to the point of becoming a fashion accessory.
I live in New York and it amuses me to see people wandering around town with their ubiquitous "brown bags" of various sizes.
To some, the piece serves as a critique of the fashion industry's obsession with thinness.
This is an original, limited edition hand-pulled print.
It can be opened up and sit on a surface, hanged on the wall with a nail or framed....or you can wander around the streets with it and see if you get a chuckle out of anyone.
I ship within 3 business days.
I ship it wrapped in acid-free glassine.
