DESIGN BRIEF: This is MR. NUT. My girls love squirrels and have been the inspiration for this entire critter line! MR. NUT is inspired by a magical soul that we have adopted here in Maine. My 8 and 4 year olds watch out of our living room windows that overlook the woods. MR. NUT is in full swing, scurrying about looking for all of those hidden acorns that he has buried all over the yard, only to remember half of them. The illustration of the squirrel was redrawn and collaged from various found coloring books all from the early 1900's. e
