Beech Nut Warmers, perfect walking through the woods wear for collecting fallen seeds to plant and make new trees and nuts to eat along your wandering way - but not too many, we need to leave plenty for the squirrels and field mice to eat (and bury too).

Terracotta nut pumpkin clay - what color is this pure bamboo yarn exactly? The yarn label calls it "ember" - perhaps meaning the smoldering, deep rays of sunshine Autumn brings us, the last rich warmth of sun and the rich ember brown-earth-red of leaves turning from green to red to brown.

Beech Nut Warmers are knitted with soft, pure bamboo yarn which feels like a cotton-silk but is warmer. I have added raw strips of Trelise Cooper cotton fabric in panels and left the edges unhemmed.
