The color is a naturally occurring chocolate tone. The yarn is a nubbly thick/thin spin, creating a lovely visual texture. The mobius style collar gives more fullness and a beautiful decorative detail, and the collar on this one is especially full and generous in sizing. This piece is sized for newborn-3 mos, but all infants are unique and you may find that yours can snuggle in this until about 6 mos of age. Approximate measurements are 21" long by 10 1/2" wide(21" circumference). Prior to knitting, I machine washed and dried the yarn to preshrink the fibers. With proper care, there should be little, if any, additional shrinkage. You may find that the color becomes richer with time.

Recommended Care: Machine wash, gentle cycle in cold water. Machine dry.
