Measures approximately 1 inch X 1.5 inches, encased in glass, edges silvered with lead-free solder. Complimentary ball chain measures 24 inches and can be cut to desired length with ordinary scissors. For your neck, wall, Christmas tree, rearview mirror...anywhere.
This piece is wearable art, made in a stained glass techinque and is basically glass and copper tape that is "glued" together with liquid metal (solder). It is not made of the hardened metals like most jewelry, and therefore not as durable under stress.
This piece is FRAGILE. It is designed to easily and effectively support its own weight without effort when suspended. But it cannot tolerate any tugging, such as that done by nervous necklace wearers who run a piece back and forth along the chain. Just so you know...
