1. Color choice.
I recommend colors which are not too dark as it shows the antiqued effect better.
2. First name initials of the groom & bride.
I will carve your initials on the bottom of the lovebirds. For example, D & R (for David and Rebecca).
3. Event date.
It will be carved on the bottom too (e.g: 9.4.10)
Since every item is individually handmade, it can take several months to complete. Ideally, please place your orders two months in advance. If your wedding is one month away, please purchase a rush order + overnight shipping listed in my shop. If you do not see the listing, it could mean that rush orders for the month is full. Please email me to find out if I can still accomodate your rush order request.

Each bird stands at approximately 1.25 inches tall and 2 to 2.5 inches wide.
Due to its handmade nature, your pair of Love Birds will not look exactly like the ones pictured. They are only examples of what you might receive. Rest assured that yours will look just as exclusive!
These sweet pair of Love Birds were made out of air dry clay. They were hand sculptured, carved, painted and varnished. They have been sensitively distressed to make them look like they have been around for years.
You can give one bird to your special one and keep the other one for yourself - very sweet and romantic! You may also want to use these as decoration or use them as cake toppers. These Love Birds will make an interesting addition to your little garden, potted plants or just sitting beside the window sill.

*The Process*
Clay Miniatures are made of air dry white clay or terracotta clay. Each one is individually hand sculpted and carved. They are then given a few coats of paint. Once dried, they are hand dyed with several coats of tea, coffee or dark paint - I will choose according to the item color. Clay Miniatures have been given at least 2 coats of varnish to seal and protect each piece. It is a painstaking yet fun process that takes at least a week to complete.
